Privacy Policy
Effective October 31, 2026
HadCRM ("we", "us") provides software that home-service contractors ("Contractors") use to manage leads, estimates, contracts, scheduling, invoices and communication with their customers ("Clients"). This policy explains what information we handle, why, and the choices you have. When we process Client information that a Contractor entered or collected through their website, we do so on that Contractor's behalf.
Information we collect
- Contractor accounts: name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), business name and details, license and insurance information, and settings.
- Client information: name, email address, phone number, project address, project details, photos, signatures on proposals and contracts, and payment records. Contractors enter this information, or Clients submit it through a Contractor's website or client portal.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, and log data needed to run, secure and troubleshoot the service, plus cookies that keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.
How we use information
- To provide the service, including sending emails and text messages on a Contractor's behalf.
- To secure accounts, prevent fraud and abuse, and keep each Contractor's data separate.
- To provide support and to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Text messages (SMS)
Clients receive text messages only after agreeing to them, either by checking the consent box on a Contractor's request form or by telling the Contractor they agree. Messages are about the Client's own project: request confirmations, proposals and contracts ready to review, scheduling and job status updates, and change orders awaiting approval. Message frequency varies by project. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the messaging providers that deliver the messages.
How information is shared
- With the Contractor you are working with, who controls their Clients' information.
- With service providers that run the service for us under contract: hosting (Vercel), database (Neon), email delivery (Resend), text message delivery (Twilio), and payment processing (Stripe, if card payments are enabled).
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of users and the service.
- As part of a merger or sale of the business, under this policy's protections.
Retention and security
We keep information while a Contractor's account is active and as needed for legal, tax and dispute-resolution purposes. Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted, and each Contractor's data is isolated from every other Contractor's at the database level.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts.
- Clients can ask the Contractor they work with to access, correct or delete their information. You can also contact us and we will forward or handle the request.
- Contractors can update their account information in the app or contact us to close their account.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify Contractors by email.
